ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — The University of Georgia is set to host the Second City improv comedy troupe.

The school says the Chicago-based comedy group will perform three shows in Ramsey Concert Hall at the UGA Performing Arts Center on Jan. 27, 28 and 29. For its third appearance at Ramsey Hall, the group will put on a show called "Happily Ever Laughter."

The comedy company has helped launched the careers of many famous comedians, including Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Amy Poehler, Jason Sudekis, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bill Murray and Joan Rivers.

The group's shows include a combination of sketches, songs and improvisation.

Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or at the performing arts center box office.
