ATLANTA (AP) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is working with federal authorities to find a man accused of fleeing U.S. Air Force duty.

GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang says 30-year-old Capt. Robby Williams III didn't report for work Dec. 23 and has eluded authorities since then. Lang says Williams has stayed in hotels and motels in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and was last seen in Waco, Ga.

Lang says Williams was driving a 2013 black Jeep Wrangler with a South Carolina license plate reading ITC701.

Williams is described as an African-American man who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds. Lang says he also uses the alias "Robby Lawton."

Tipsters with information on Williams' whereabouts are asked to call U.S. Air Force Special Investigations at (571) 305-8484.
