A man accused of urinating in a parking lot faces a felony drug charge after police say they found marijuana, cocaine and scales in his car.

James Douglas Hamilton, 33, of Powder Springs is accused of urinating in a parking lot at the intersection of South Cobb Drive and Pearl Street, exposing himself to the people in the area.

When police arrived, Hamilton was reported by police to be under the influence of alcohol and cocaine, according to an arrest warrant.

Cobb Police found 9.3 grams of marijuana in a dashboard compartment of Hamilton’s car and another 13.6 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 8.4 grams of suspected powder cocaine, according to the warrant.

Police say the suspected cocaine was found in four clear plastic bags, divided between a Pall Mall cigarette box and a box of raisins in a duffel bag.

A scale with a “white powder residue” and “marijuana residue” were also found in the car’s trunk, according to the warrant, along with several clear plastic bags with suspected marijuana residue.
