Michael Joseph Comastro, of Canton, has been charged with misdemeanor simple battery and two counts of felony terroristic threats after Smyrna police say he assaulted his brother and threatened employees of a restaurant.

Police say Comastro assaulted his brother during “a heated dispute regarding family business” at Chicago Pizza, 3150 Highlands Parkway in Smyrna, according to the arrest warrant.

The attack resulted in superficial injuries to the right side of the victim’s neck, seemingly from fingernails being scraped across the skin, according to the warrant.

Comastro is also accused of threatening to harm his brother and restaurant employees by “blowing up” the business and threatening an employee to “beat him to death.”
