Smyrna police are requesting the public’s help in locating a man suspected in a string of robberies.

Police say the suspect has been captured on video entering businesses and purchasing small items. The suspect will wait for the clerk to open the register, then jump over the counter, take money and flee the store.

Police describe the man as black, between 30 and 35 years old, about 6 feet to 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing between 150 to 175 pounds.

The suspect has not displayed any weapons and there have been no reported injuries.
