Police are investigating a fatality that happened Friday in the parking lot of Rite Price Auto Repair, 4583 Canton Road, Marietta.

Candice M. Cremeans, of Marietta, was driving a red 1997 Honda Accord when Police say she entered the business’ parking lot and collided with a brick pillar near the front of the business.

She then accelerated away from the pillar and collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle in the lot.

Cremeans was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital and was pronounced dead later Friday.

Police say she may have experienced a medical emergency contributing to the collision.

No charges are expected to be filed, but anyone with information is asked to call (770) 499-3987.
