Carter’s Inc. in Merchant’s Walk, 1311 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 544 in Marietta,  will have a free pajama party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday with Sprout Channel’s “The Pajanimals.”

Participants can wear their pajamas to the party and meet characters CowBella, Apollo, Sweetpea Sue and Squacky in person and pose for photos. There will also be arts, crafts, a chance to win a $250 gift basket from Sprout and a $100 gift card from Carter’s.

The event will kick off the Pajama Program’s One Million Good Nights campaign, a nationwide initiative to collect one million new pajamas, one million new books and the resources needed to put them in the hands of children in need in the United States. Participants during or after the party can donate a new pair of PJs for a child in need, make a donation in the store or online at www.carters.com.

The Pajama Program is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to delivering new, warm pajamas and books to children, ranging in age from newborn to 18 who live in group homes, shelters and temporary housing.
