Foley needs to read up on Islam

DEAR EDITOR:

Re: Kevin Foley column, “Children’s book on Islam triggered intolerance in Cobb,” Nov. 29 MDJ

As usual, Mr. Foley “cherry picks” his facts. The Islam he describes is one of decades ago, when the Muslims had an agrarian/nomadic economy.

Today, supported by millions in oil revenue, the Islamic faith is characterized by the goal of a worldwide Caliphate, and woe to those who do not sign up.

Read up on it, Mr. Foley.

Ken Lowman

Honestly, this is the most unbecoming columnist I have ever read! MDJ, this nasty man has not one ounce of journalistic professionalism, no humor, rarely gets his facts straight. The only thing I can think is that you are paying him absolutely nothing and getting to showcase something not seen heretofor in Cobb: a true Progressive, leftist hater of the Constitution, truth and the American way (except of course when it begets his PR firm another contract).

Do the men you "use" on your website as references for your business ever read your columns, Foley? Because I know those men and cannot believe they would still support you, let alone pay you.

Cobber (whoever you are) - Please show us any fact I have failed to "get straight" in anything I have written for the MDJ.

I'll save you the trouble: you won't find any.

You and those like you hate your little conservative info bubble being burst by those irrefutable facts I present every week. You'd rather wallow in willful ignorance than confront reality.

I seem to attract a lot of readers and I suspect not all of them are like you. I believe many Cobb readers welcome a differing point of view and think about the issues I raise.

Tell you what, Cobber. If my writings hurt your hair, don't read them.

Mr. Lowman,

I think Mr. Foley is read up on Islam but he sees Islam as an ally in his personal war on... America, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, capitalism, and the Church. War makes strange bedfellows and here we have Mr. Foley, who has acknowledged his distaste for religion and the Church, in bed with an extremely fundamentalist religion. You have to ask yourself... what's with this relationship? The answer lies in that both Mr. Foley and Muslims have a strategic vision and mission to advance their respective social and religious agendas but to succeed both need the destruction of America. So, with this insight its clear to see why Mr. Foley would attack a concerned father and label him as - intolerant - but defend an intolerant, fundamentalist religion. Islam is Mr. Foley's ally in his personal war on America.

@Kevin Foley

So, Mr. Foley, 'my anonymity is well advised' sounds somewhat threatening. In fact, it sounds like something out of the cold war. Something I might have heard in eastern Europe years ago. Yes, it definitely has that cold war tone. But that's the way of you progressives is it not? Yes, you're all about peace, love, understanding, and tolerance until someone shines a light on you and then your real colors show and it gets ugly.

Our Man (whoever you are) - please don't project your violent fantasies on me. You hide because anyone with the sort of knuckle-dragger opinions you hold wouldn't want to be known by name.

As I say, you defile the Constitution.

Mr. Foley,

As a veteran of the 'Cold War' I recognize the pattern... the enlightened revolutionary filled with disdain for the establishment and a vision of a social utopia. What's troubles me about you is your actions... I understand the attacking a parent and labeling them - intolerant - because that's attacking the establishment. An appropriate action for an enlightened revolutionary. But defending an intolerant, fundamentalist religion is confusing. Maybe your Che Guevara beret is on too tight.

This letter by Mr. Lowman reeks of ignorance and bigotry, and I find it especially disturbing that this newspaper would even consider publishing such malice.

Hundreds, perhaps thousands dead in the Central African Republic: Christians slaughtered by Muslims in a genocide supported by worldwide Islam (supported because...do you hear any Muslim leaders condemning these murderous days? Oh heck no).

Good people, Christian or otherwise, must not be afraid to speak the truth about the so called "religion of peace." Despite all the threats, intimidation and frank murder of those around the world who speak truth (Islam sees it as blasphemy) this sick, twisted politically based, supremicist "religion" will be exposed because the followers cannot stop killing.

You just tipped your mitt, Mr. Lowman.

"Worldwide Caliphate" is a signature Glenn Beck conspiracy theory the recovering drug addict and alcoholic former radio morning zoo rodeo clown has pushed for years.

If that's where you're getting your education, you're the one who needs help.

Straight from the mouths of Islamic leadership, Foley. Try doing some research.

"recovering drug addict and alcoholic former radio morning zoo rodeo clown"

You regularly complain about name calling and yet you do it more than anyone. Enough with the ad hominem attacks. Whether Beck or the letter writer is right or wrong is immaterial. Nobody should be subjected to the poison that spews from your pen. Grow up, PLEASE!

...never missing an Alinsky chance at freezing, targeting and ridiculing anyone who speaks truth.

Congrats, Kev. You managed to bring Beck in, despite that he's not even on FOX any more while simultaneously ignoring the very valid arguments against your defense of the violent, abusive Islam. What was that excuse you said for them hanging gays and mutilating their women and removing the appendages of their own children? Oh, you say, that's Bush's fault? You sick puppy you.
