Rosalind (Rose) C. Hansford, who turned 91 years old on November 23rd, passed away on November 28, 2013. She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia where she married her beloved husband, Jack M. Hansford, in 1946. After sharing 58 years devoted to each other (residing the majority of that time in Marietta, GA), Jack preceded her in death on October 30, 2004. Rose came from a large family of one brother and five sisters who all preceded her. She is survived by her three children: David V. Hansford (Laura) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; Tricia Hansford Parker (David) of Marietta, GA; and Suzanne Hansford Evans (Todd) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Wolff and Adam Hansford and Camila Nunez Acero; Shana Vest, Allison Currie and Amanda Totillo; and Jack and Danice Rose Evans; and five wonderful great grandchildren. Rose died peacefully after enduring a difficult year with her health. She held on to her sense of humor, keeping everyone around her laughing, up till the very end. A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends sometime in January 2014.
