DEAR EDITOR:

The rationale Commissioner Lisa Cupid gave for her “no” vote on the Braves move was a testimony in courage, and will stand as a symbol for all of Cobb and especially our youth to always maintain your principles and dignity and refuse to go along to get along.

Geez, Lawrence, now you're guilty by association. We were kinda hoping people would forget about Lisa embarrassing herself and her district and then you had to go and bring it up again.

She was never 'bullied.' In fact, she really should apologize for that comment. You are now using words like, 'a testimony in courage', principles and dignity.'

Now our part of the county will be linked to her. She was being selfish and wanted something for 'HER DISTRICT' when the rest of the commissioners were looking for something for their COUNTY. Big difference.

She was so melodramatic in the interviews. Bob Johnson was right. She just wanted the TV time. Hopefully there weren't many outside the county that were tuning in.

Lisa just wanted the TV time. She knew it was going to pass and her vote didn't mean anything so she went for the face time.

Her "rationale" was mindless, cowardly, lazy, drivel.

...I support the Braves, easily would vote for this proposal, but I won't because, because, because, welll....you didn't give me time to rally my peeps to hold everyone hostage
