Morning apartment fire displaces 32 people from Smyrna complex

SMYRNA — A fire early Thanksgiving morning destroyed eight units in a suburban Atlanta apartment complex and displaced at least 32 people.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Red Cross volunteers assisted 32 people after they lost their homes at Mission Galleria Apartments in Smyrna, about 12 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta.

No injuries were reported.
