SMYRNA — Two Dallas men were arrested by Georgia State Patrol officers Thursday afternoon on charges of allegedly transporting buckets filled with marijuana down the southbound lane of Interstate 75.

David Gatlin and James Jones are facing felony charges after authorities say they were trafficking marijuana near Windy Hill Road in the county areas outside of Smyrna.

The warrant stated the two men were in possession of two five-gallon buckets that were filled with marijuana.

The total weight, including packaging, of the marijuana was 37 pounds, the warrant stated.

Neither man was given a bond. Both are being held at the Cobb jail.
