DEAR EDITOR:

OK, Cobb County. If the Braves are going to build a stadium here, let’s show them we know how to properly name a baseball field: “Hank Aaron Stadium.”

Good riddance to “The Ted.”

The braves have the rights to the stadium name, so if you want, Ms. Smith, you can form a group that will pay them to name it for Hank Aaron--and renew their support every contract period.

But, you don't understand. Timmy Lee thinks they are going to name it the "Tim Lee Memorial Stadium".

If the move goes off as planned and the $400 million development build next door, I would not mind it being called the "Tim Lee Field". Sometimes you don't recognize a great public servant until something like this comes along. And with all the negativity and hostility every day in the media towards any offical in Cobb County it is great to know that we have a leader here now recognized throughout the Southeast.

Perhaps "Hank Aaron Stadium" would be a good choice for the new stadium, but Ms Smith, what on earth warrants such harsh language as "Good riddance to "The Ted"?

The name will be decided upon by which company puts up the most money.
