Why oh why do you allow columnist Kevin Foley a voice in your paper? Once again he’s blaming the Republicans in the House of Representatives as problem for the shutdown in Washington. He’s like a broken record. What Foley needs to do is take a civics class. Our government was set up as three equal but separate parts of government. Those small group of radicals were voted in by their constituents and we expect them to stand up to the despots in the White House and in the Senate who have flouted the Constitution since they been in office with the help of the true radical Harry Reid.
If Foley wants to blame the true obstruction in Washington it’s Harry Reid. The House Republicans have been trying to negotiate with Obama but Obama and Reid’s idea of government is their way or the highway, so tell Foley to go learn how the government is supposed to work, not how he hopes it to work (so he won’t have to buy his employees health care).
We will not allow liberals to run roughshod over our country all the while disregarding the Constitution and acting like it’s their government and not the people’s government. If Foley wants to talk about “a small group of radicals” he needs to look in a mirror. People like Foley are not the solution, they are the problem.
