Cobb County Police investigating armed robbery at liquor store

Cobb County Police are investigating an armed robbery reported at a liquor store at 4400 Roswell Road in Marietta on Saturday at about 9:10 p.m.

According to investigators, a man entered the B & G Liquor Store and immediately pulled out a handgun.

He opened the cash registers and removed the cash drawers. He then fled the business on foot with the cash drawers, and was last seen running eastbound on Roswell Road.

The suspect is described “possibly a white male,” standing 6-feet to 6-feet-2, with a thin to medium build.

He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with silver duct tape covering a logo on the right arm, dark pants, black shoes, and black gloves.

Police say he was armed with a black, semi-automatic handgun.

There are no pictures or video available at this time, police said.
