Robert W. Marshall, 71, of Marietta Ga. passed Oct 11, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula, daughters, Alison Crawford (Isaac), Torrey O’Connor (Ryan), and Amanda DeLong (Brian). He also leaves his brothers, Dale Marshall (M. J.), John Marshall (Chris), Keith Marshall (Karen), and sisters, Susan Marshall-Coray and Wendy Hughes (Steve). Mr. Marshall is survived by his beloved grandchildren, Jillian, David, Daniel, Brenden, Lucas, Hannah, Rachel and Ruthie and multiple nieces and nephews. He received his BS degree from SEMO and member of SIGMA PHI EPSILON and went on to be an Officer and US Naval Pilot retiring as a Captain, Eastern Airlines CAPT and Air Tran Airlines CAPT and ended his career as a contract pilot. The Senior Group at BSLC, and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, where he was an usher and greeter will miss his support and participation. Although he was known for being a pilot; he enjoyed yard work, engineering projects, barbequing on his Big Green Egg and was always ready to help others. Mr. Marshall will be missed by many friends and family. Donations may be made in his honor to the following charities; The Lutheran Hour LCMS, www.LCMS.org. The family will receive friends Monday, October 28, 2013 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the Memorial Services which will be held at 11 a.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2240 Shallowford Rd., Marietta GA 30066. Officiant will be Pastor Bitter. A Committal Service will be at Georgia National Cemetery, 2025 Mt. Carmel Church Ln., Canton GA 30114 at 2:30 p.m. with Full Military Honors.
