3 charged with trafficking pot

SMYRNA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested Rodgers Burks of Smyrna, Riyad Muhammad Nabasa of Atlanta and Cherisa Saunders of Atlanta on Oct. 3 in a hotel on South Cobb Drive.

All three were charged with felonies for allegedly trafficking more than 10 pounds of marijuana and are being held without bond.

The warrant states, on the night of May 28, Nabasa delivered Burks 60 pounds of marijuana, who then delivered the marijuana to Darrell Williams. Saunders delivered 25 pounds to an ASAP Tax Service location at 400 Galleria Parkway, according to the warrant.
