Powder Springs police say they found 14 marijuana plants and 27 stolen laptops in a home on Warwick Lane near Old Lost Mountain Road.

Jamar Romel White, 32, who owned the home where the items were found has been charged with theft by receiving stolen property, manufacturing marijuana and intent to distribute marijuana.

The items were found during a search of the home by Powder Springs and Brookhaven police officers.

Hundreds of electronics are suspected stolen and Powder Springs police say they are working with nine other police jurisdictions in surrounding counties to identify any stolen property.

Manufacturing marijuana and intent to distribute marijuana? What a stupid waste of taxpayer funded effort.

At least he had some laptops people didn't want anymore and left in their cars, but honestly, if the cops are successful with busting dudes who steal laptops from cars, how will anyone ever get a new laptop? "Oops my old laptop got stole out of my car" won't work anymore if the cops aren't careful and that hurts the economy.
