MARIETTA — An undercover operation by Cobb County Police has left five women behind bars and charged with prostitution.

A Cobb County police officer made the arrests between 12 and 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, within about 6 miles of each other.

Lindsey Marie Heater, 34, was arrested for taking $200 from the officer and agreeing to perform a sex act at Fairfield Inn and Suites, at 3425 Busbee Drive near Chastain Road.

About 3 miles to the south, another three women were arrested at the Crestwood Suites, at 2353 Barrett Creek Parkway near Barrett Parkway at Town Center Mall.

Jacqueline Carol Blu, age not listed, Jennifer Lynne Hogan, 31, and Priscilla Marie Lohmeyer, 40, are accused of each soliciting between $200 and $300 from the undercover agent and agreeing to perform a sex act, according to warrants.

On the arrest warrant, Blu is listed as being homeless.

About two hours later, Martinette Tomlin, 33, was arrested after reportedly taking $20 in exchange for sex at a Quik Trip gas station, at 671 Cobb Parkway near Allgood Road.

Organized-crime unit runs sting

In two other incidents the same day, police arrested accused prostitutes who allegedly posted advertisements for sex on backpage.com.

A Cobb Police officer working with the Marietta/Cobb/Smyrna Organized Crime Unit arrested Jada Marie Brown after an undercover agent responded to an advertisement for “medium tissue therapeutic body rubs” on the website.

The agent was directed to a home on the 1000 block of Traveler’s Trail near Cherokee Street in Kennesaw. Once inside the house, he was reportedly led into a bathroom, where a pricing sheet was listed with service options.

The agent chose the “upper body with hand-sensual end” for $130.

Brown allegedly told the agent to leave his clothing and other items inside the bathroom because she was previously arrested when an undercover officer wore recording equipment and taped one of her sessions.

The agent laid face down on the bed and was given a shoulder massage. Brown then had the agent turn over on his back facing up and, according to the warrant, “began to touch the agent on the genital area trying to stimulate him by manipulation with her hands.”

The agent then contacted other agents from the Marietta/Cobb/Smyrna Organized Crime Unit who were covering from the outside of the house and placed Brown under arrest.

One charged with pimping

Smyrna police also made a prostitution arrest the same day charging Tiffany Nicole Davis with misdemeanor prostitution for allegedly agreeing to exchange $200 for one hour of a sex act.

Patrick Unique Starks, 31, has been charged with felony pimping after allegedly arranging for Davis to have sex for money at Extended Stay, 1967 Leland Drive near Windy Hill Road in Marietta.

Davis reportedly told officers she had a pimp to whom she paid a portion of her money.

Officers reported that they found a phone with photos of Davis uploaded to backpage.com but Starks allegedly told police the phone did not belong to him anymore and he had sold it to a drug dealer named Hoover.

A photo of a child’s hand and the name Gabrielle, the name of Starks’ child, were also found on the phone, according to police.

Wow. I feel safer already.

I guess it is a lot safer to go after victimless crimes than to go after the real criminals....
