Man arrested on intoxication charges

Alexander Zachary Parsons of Marietta was arrested Sept. 16 on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication at Southern Polytechnic State University.

According to the warrant, Parsons is accused of yelling at students in the college’s student center at about 11:45 a.m. Sept. 16, “sweating profusely and staggering about the game room barefooted.”

He was released from the Cobb jail the following day on a $2,000 bond.
