The Lady Buccaneers (18-7) sent 10 batters to the plate in the decisive inning.
Casey Lewis finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs, while Hailey Reagor was 3-for-4 with a double. Morgan Kazerooni went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Nicole Williams batted 1-for-4 with an RBI.
Starter Makenzie Colwart gave up four unearned runs in 3 2/3 innings before giving way to Savanna Mitchell. Mitchell got Allatoona out of the inning, allowing two hits and no runs on two strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings to get her first win of the season. Colwart returned for the final 1 2/3 innings to pick up the save.
Bridgette Rainey batted 2-for-3 with an RBI to pace Harrison. Abby Broome was 1-for-4 with a double and a RBI.
Allatoona will host Rome today for a Region 5AAAAA game, while Harrison will be at Marietta in Region 4AAAAAA play.
Sprayberry 10, Walton 8: The Lady Yellow Jackets rallied from a 7-1 fourth-inning deficit to post the non-region road win.
Sprayberry (6-12) scored four in the fifth before tying the contest at 8-all with three runs in the sixth.
Taylor Bates, who batted 2-for-4, hit the game-winning home run to lead off the seventh. Kierston Moore, who was 2-for-4 with four RBIs, added an insurance run. Moore also blasted a three-run homer, her sixth of the year, in the fifth.
Sprayberry totaled 17 hits in the contest. Katie Reed batted 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Katie Tokos was 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI. Charlie Smith, who gave up one earned run on two hits and struck out three in three innings of relief, was 2-for-5 with an RBI.
Walton scored six runs in the fourth to stake a 7-1 advantage and took an 8-5 margin entering the sixth.
Sprayberry will host Forsyth Central today in Region 7AAAAA play. Walton will host South Cobb on Monday.
South Cobb 10, Whitefield Academy 2 (6 inn.): Kierra Dudley went 3-for-4 and drove in three as the Lady Eagles earned a non-region victory.
Terilyn Harris was 3-for-4 with an RBI, while Kierra Rozier had two hits and drove in two. Becky Collins finished 2-for-3.
Brittany Rhodes earned the win for South Cobb (16-6), which will travel to McEachern today.
Hillgrove 4, Kennesaw Mountain 3: The Lady Hawks rallied from a one-run deficit with two runs in the sixth inning, then held on for a pivotal Region 4AAAAAA win.
Hillgrove (22-4, 6-0) was left as the final unbeaten in the region standings, and it’s now assured of eventually hosting the region’s No. 2 seed in a best-of-three championship series.
Maddie Garner played a big role in the rally, driving in a pair of runs, while Ambria Derry also had an RBI. Kia Lang was 2-for-3.
Abby Evans (12-2) struck out seven and went the distance, though she did give up five walks and seven hits.
Kennesaw Mountain’s Kathryn Woody also pitched a complete game, striking out three. She also stood out at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
Hillgrove will end its region schedule today at North Cobb. Kennesaw Mountain (17-2, 5-1) will do the same when it hosts Campbell.
