David Bearden of Mableton was arrested on Sept. 6 on a charge of aggravated assault weapon, a felony. His bond is $15,000.

According to the warrant, Bearden attempted to sell a lawn mower, which was not his. The owner of the lawn mower confronted Bearden, and Bearden then pulled out a pocket knife.

The man struggled to take the knife from Bearden and succeeded, but received minor cuts to his right forearm.

Bearden remains in the Cobb County jail.
