KENNESAW — A drug bust has left two in jail facing felony charges after officers found 11 marijuana plants at a Powder Springs home.

Jeffrey Walker and Brandie Walker, a Powder Springs couple, were arrested by Kennesaw police on felony marijuana manufacturing charges Wednesday near Hiram Lithia Springs Road.

Officers with the Marietta-Cobb-Smyrna Narcotics Unit performed what they call a “knock and talk” operation and reportedly saw the growing operation on the back deck of the home.

The plants have a street value of about $50,000.

Both suspects have been released from the Cobb County jail on bonds of $10,000 each.
