Three Smyrna residents were arrested last Friday on various accusations of marijuana sale and possession and gang activity.

Nehemiah Antoine Thomas and Jeremy James Hylton were arrested on charges of selling marijuana, possession of marijuana and street gang terrorism and prevention, criminal gang activity. Dinah Jenia Thomas was arrested on one count of marijuana possession.

According to the warrant, an undercover agent allegedly bought a total of 16.2 grams of marijuana from Nehemiah Thomas and 7.3 grams of marijuana from Hylton in July and August. Also, during a search of a home on Auldon Court in Smyrna, agents reported that they confiscated another 18.2 grams of marijuana in each of their rooms.

The gang activity charges relate to Nehemiah Thomas and Hylton both having items in their bedroom indicative of gang membership for the street gang known as “BLOODS,” including a mirror, signs and pictures, according to accusations made in the warrant.

Police reportedly found another 1.2 grams of marijuana in Dinah Thomas’ room.

The two men remain in the Cobb County jail without a bond and Dinah Thomas was released from the jail Aug. 24 on a $2,500 bond.
