The Cobb School District is exploring formal conversion of Oakwood High School from an alternative education school to a support program called the Oakwood Digital Academy.

The public is invited to two hearings regarding the proposed conversion: Tuesday, Aug. 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 8, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Both hearings will be in the Oakwood campus activity room, 1560 Joyner Ave. in Marietta.

The Board of Education is scheduled to discuss the potential conversion during its August meetings.
