The Cobb County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery and carjacking that took place this morning on Dodgen Road in Mableton.
Police say the victim met the suspected criminal on Dodgen Road while responding to a Craigslist ad. The suspect, a 5’10” black man in his late 20s or early 30s and weighing close to 160 pounds, used a silver handgun to rob the victim of his cash and drove off in his 2005 black Hyundai Elantra with the Georgia license plate number AVD7709, according to the news release.
Police asked those with information about the crime or the suspected criminal to call (770) 499-3945.

Stop using Craigs
June 28, 2013
I stopped using Craigslist because I was getting flooded with people soliciting sex. Craigslist told me there isn't anything they can do and I have to contact the users provider. I just quit using it!
