STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) — Police say a young child has been hospitalized after a shooting at a grocery store in metro Atlanta.

Authorities say an argument between two people outside a Kroger in Stone Mountain escalated to gunfire Wednesday afternoon and a child was wounded. Authorities say the victim has been taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.

Information on the child's exact age and medical condition wasn't immediately available.
