A Marietta man is accused of making terroristic threats and pointing a gun at a group of people while inquiring about his girlfriend’s whereabouts.

Charles Lott reportedly knocked on the victim’s front door and pointed a gun at her face while threatening to kill her if she did not tell him why people were in a room with his girlfriend. Lott reportedly said he would begin killing people if he did not immediately receive an answer and began pointing the cocked pistol at multiple people in the room. He also said he would send another woman to physically assault the victim, according to the arrest warrant.

Lott was arrested by the Cobb County Police Department on June 17 and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon and terroristic threats, both felonies, and pointing a dangerous weapon at another person, a misdemeanor.
