Earl Jenkins of Smyrna is facing charges after reportedly trying to run a car full of teenagers off the road.

Police say Jenkins was suffering from a road rage episode when he used his vehicle to try to force a vehicle driven by a minor with two passengers who were also minors off the road. Once the vehicles stopped, Jenkins got out of his vehicle and punched the minor’s driver side window, resulting in shattered glass, according to the arrest warrant. Jenkins was arrested June 9 by the Smyrna Police Department and jailed on a $25,000 bond. He was charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
