Clarence P. “Pat” Price passed away in Austell on Monday, 20 May 2013. He was 89. Mr. Price is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Price, sons David of Powder Springs, Steve of Auburn, and Dennis of Lawrenceville, as well as three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was a resident of the Atlanta area since 1966. He is a WWII veteran at Normandy and the Bulge. He retired from the Associated Press in 1976 then became manager of the Antebellum Plantation in Stone Mountain Park, retiring there in 1993. Pat was well loved by his family and countless friends in Stone Mountain and Powder Springs, where his constant smile and cowboy hat will long be remembered. Services will be at Mayes-Ward Dobbins in Powder Springs on Friday, 24 May, with visitation 2pm-4pm and funeral at 4pm. (770)943-1511.
