A local woman living in a hotel in Kennesaw is accused of neglecting her 4-year-old child after leaving the child home alone for six hours.

Fumiko Blakely allegedly left her child without supervision at the Green Roof Inn and Suites while she went to work. The child was found wandering the hotel asking for food, according to the arrest warrant. Hotel residents called the Cobb County Police Department when they could not find the child’s mother.

Blakely was arrested by the Cobb County Police Department on May 16 and was jailed on a $2,500 bond. She was charged with contributing to the deprivation of a minor.
