DEAR EDITOR:

I couldn’t help but chuckle when I read your recent headline, “Justice Dept. investigating IRS”.

Did the old adage of “the fox guarding the henhouse” occur to anyone else?

I am quite certain that after conducting an “in-depth, thorough and exhaustive” investigation, Obama’s faithful lapdog AG, Eric Holder, will issue a report concluding that certain “rogue, low-level employees of the IRS conducted over-zealous, unauthorized and covert activities without the knowledge of their superiors.”

The only investigation into this and other similarly-outrageous and criminal activities by this administration (Benghazi, voter intimidation, NLRB abuses, etc., etc., ad infinitum, ad nauseam) that will yield any credible results would be conducted by congressionally-appointed special prosecutors empowered with subpoena authority.

Let’s hope this takes place sooner rather than later, and before all incriminating evidence meets the same fate as the Rose Law Firm records did.
