Ancely Faye Green, 39, appeared via video conference from the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in front of Magistrate Judge Jennifer M. Inmon this morning.

The criminal warrant listed Green as a homeless woman from Dallas. The mother of three is being charged with armed robbery and theft of $425 from SunTrust Bank at 1755 Mars Hill Road about six miles south of Acworth in west Cobb.

According to the arrest warrant, Green walked into the bank and presented a note instructing the teller to “empty all the tills and that (Green) was strapped with a bomb.”

Green was also charged with fleeing and attempting to elude police officers during a 23-mile chase through Cobb County at speeds reaching 120 mph. The chased ended when Green lost control of the black 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer and crashed on Interstate 75.

A bomb squade was called to the scene and searched the wrecked SUV while the interstate was shut down in both directions for about two hours Monday. No explosives were found on Green or in her car.

Green was denied bond on Tuesday. She will remain in the county jail pending a bond hearing that has been scheduled for June 11, according to the magistrate’s office.

Lets see, she's facing charges of bank robbery, federal offense, terroristic threat (the bomb) fleeing, etc after this trial is over, I'd say she won't be "homeless" anylonger, she'll be in the"big house".

Why is homeless in quotes? Is there a question as to whether or not she is?
