Marietta police are investigating the shooting death of a man in a bar.

Police say 34-year-old Takilam Terrell of Sandy Springs was gunned down inside Milo's Bar on Garrison Road.

Terrell was found in the bar's  parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound, after responding to calls about a person shot around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Terrell was taken to Kennestone Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He was pronounced dead later Sunday morning.

Police say they're seeking help from anyone who has information related to the killing.

Yall dont know what happened and you think because someone is a convicted felon they not suppose to work??? Did you see dennis hampton carrying a gun or are you assuming?? my guess is you assuming. would somebody request a lie detector if they were innocent(at least i heard he did) but i dont know just like nobody knows?? people just need to leave it in the hands of GOD THE MOST HIGH the truth will be revealed in the end... AND GOD HAS THE LAST SAY SO IN ALL OF THIS REGUARDLESS you know what Im saying I feel for the family and if witnesses were there which I know they were they need to come forth because if Takilam was your son brother uncle father cousin you would want the whole world to tell... may god bless you all and give you peace in the mist. much love

We say farewell today. RIP sweet Tee. We love you and will miss you so much.

We aren't going to focus on the people responsible for taking you from us - their day will come. Trust me. I will say, though, that it is interesting seeing all the supporters of Milo on his FB page tell him that he isn't responsible. Did he hire Dennis Hampton, a convicted felon, to do "security" at his club and allowed him to carry a weapon in his "job?" That makes makes Milo ultimately responsible. I don't care how many 'hood barbeques and bogus Christmas toy drives he hosts. My loved one's life was worth more than a slab of ribs and any empty Christmas gesture.

It's ashame that you can't go anywhere without people wanting to act a damn fool about nothing. If there were property security then this wouldn't have happened. What kind of club allows guns inside?? That right there alone tell you that something isn't right. This place should be shut down permanently.

@Southern Patriot

I don't understand your comment? Can you explain what you meant by "Takilam? That's an interesting name, it reveals much about its former owner."

I can't understand how somebody could have gotten shot in that bar. I mean, the sign on the door says "No Weapons." You can even see it in the picture, it's so big. How could somebody just have ignored that? Don't they have security down there? The bar is located right across the street from a family-oriented apartment complex on Garrison Road, where kids can be seen playing on the commons and in the front yards all the time.

He was my friend. His name is actually Tekilum. It is spelled incorrectly in these articles. The fact that you are judging someone based on his name speaks volumes about YOU. Your IGNORANCE is showing. Your comment implies he deserved to be killed because his name is Tekilum? The man was one of the nicest people I've ever known. He was a sweet with an easy smile, and infectious laugh. He didn't deserve to be murdered by these losers.

Show some respect a human life was taken. Your day will come. One day you will be a former owner of your name also. If I am wrong I apologize in advance.
