Lucile Graham Rush, 75, of Mableton, Ga. died Friday, April 5, 2013, at Emory University Hospital. Lucile was born March 17, 1938, raised in the Violet Community of Murphy, NC, and graduated from Murphy High School in 1955. She was a retired real estate agent/broker and spent most of her career with Northside Realty in Smyrna, Ga. She especially enjoyed working with young families and first time home buyers. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Willard D. and Edna Garrett Graham and was preceded in death by two sisters, Deloris Reba Graham and Naomi Jean Graham; one granddaughter; and three nephews. Surviving are husband Terry of Mableton, Ga., two children, Rebecca Rush Phillips and husband Darren of Cary, NC and Stephen Graham Rush and wife Theodosia of Columbus, Ind.; four sisters, Dorothy Graham Roby and husband, Mac of Scottsdale, Ariz., Helen Graham Murphy and husband, Olen of the Hiwassee Dam Community, Murphy, Ruth Graham Kent and husband, Donald of Cary, NC, and Patricia Graham Forrister and husband, Larry of Raleigh, NC; four brothers, Ernest Graham of Aiken, SC, Max G. Graham and wife, Judy of Villa Rica, Ga., Willard Graham Jr. and wife, Alice of the Sunny Point Community, Murphy, and J.C. Graham and wife, Dorothy of Murphy; nine grandchildren, 22 nieces and nephews, 26 great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta, Ga. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 - 1:45 p.m. Monday at Carmichael Funeral Home prior to the services.
