Grace Thompson Galbraith, 80, formerly of Knoxville Tn. and Marietta Ga. died Monday March 25, at her home in Villa Rica Ga. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Mickey. She is survived by a son, John, of Spring Tx., a son, William, of Marietta Ga., and a daughter, Marie Keith, of Villa Rica Ga. She had 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Grace was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, with a degree in Nursing. She had a long career as a supervisor at Kennestone Hospital, and also served her community at the Methodist Ministries free clinic. Grace was recognized and received several awards for her volunteer work in Marietta. Her interests included books, baseball, and British comedies. Her ashes will be interred at Saint Jude’s Episcopal Church in Smyrna Ga., where she was a member for over 40 years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27 at Saint Jude’s. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Must Ministires
