Kenneth Charles Robinson turned himself in to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office on March 1, according to Fulton County Jail records.
He was arrested and charged with child molestation and sexual battery for an alleged incident involving a minor in November.
The Atlanta Police Department is conducting an investigation.
Robinson is an associate professor of management and entrepreneurship, according to a statement released by Kennesaw State.
He has been placed on administrative leave from his faculty position, pending review by the university.
Robinson was released from jail March 2 on a $100,000 bond.
