According to an arrest warrant, just after midnight on Friday, Sandy Lynell Quinn III allegedly drove up to a victim standing at the gas pumps at the Shell Station on Barrett Parkway. Quinn then pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and tried to rob the victim, the warrant stated.
The victim turned to run away, and he heard a gunshot fired in his direction.
Quinn, is being held without bond at the Cobb County Jail on felony charges of possession of a firearm during commission of a crime and aggravated assault.
