The council discussed Monday approving Roberts Community School as the location for Brookwood Christian Language School to host their prom April 27, and the Acworth Sports Complex baseball fields as a place for Cornerstone Preparatory Academy to have Field Day on May 7.
The council also considered Lake Allatoona at Dallas Landing Park for Water Top Unlimited LLC’s Sea-Doo Boat Smart from the Start event May 31 through June 2.
City officials discussed a proposal from Croft and Associates for the design of concessions and restrooms at Newbery Park for $7,500 and from TK Consulting Engineering LLC for parking lot expansions for $6,650 at the same park.
Council members will consider all items at their meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at city hall.
