Three Cobb students and three teachers advance to state STAR program

Three Cobb County Schools students and teachers have been selected as the Region 3A STAR winners.

Of the 18 students invited to the PAGE STAR program at Windermere Golf Club in Cumming on Friday, three of the seven winners in Region 3A were from Cobb.

Andrea Cooper and Campbell High Spanish teacher Melyn Roberson, Alex Wu and Walton High Biology teacher Dr. Tina Link and Catherin Niu and Walton High English teacher Kelly Bryan were all selected to move onto the state competition on April 29 in Atlanta.
