Paulene “Polly” Roberson Barfield, 88, of Marietta died Monday, March 11, 2013. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11am in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hatton officiating. Interment will be in Barfield Family Cemetery. Mrs. Barfield was a native of Montgomery, AL and was raised in Jesup, Ga. She was employed for 25 years with First National Bank of Cobb County before her retirement. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church, Marietta. She loved reading and politics. Mrs. Barfield was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie M. Barfield, son, Robert (Rusty) E. Barfield and Brother A. E. (Gene) Roberson. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dunn of Marietta; Grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer) Barfield of Augusta and Jason (Susanne) of Five Points, AL; Great Grandchildren, Reagan Barfield of Augusta and Madisen, Celicia and Logan Barfield, all of Five Points, AL; special family friend, Annette Wilcox and several nieces and nephews.
