Mrs. Norma DuRant Pollitt age 87 of Smyrna, passed away Sunday, March 10th. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, March 14th at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with Revs’ Susan Taylor and Pam McCurdy officiating. Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Atlanta. Mrs. Pollitt was a graduate of Coker College in Hartsville, SC. She had been a member of Druid Hills Presbyterian Church for over 60 years and currently had been a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Smyrna. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman P. Pollitt, Jr. Surviving are: Son & Daughter-in-law, Stephen & Jodi Pollitt of Los Altos, CA, Daughter & Son-in-law Emily & Michael Welch of Smyrna, 4 Grandchildren, Jaylie and Morgan Welch, Stephanie and Blake Pollitt.
