Cherokee Theatre Company is serving up the delightfully sweet murder mystery dinner theater, “The Last Bite of Chocolate” Saturday at 7 p.m.
Dinner theater productions are a long-standing tradition for CTC with this production marking the 12th dinner theatre to be performed in Cherokee County.
Also a long standing tradition is having Jeff Bennett and Ed Palombo at the helm.
After a two-year hiatus from producing a dinner theater, Bennett and Palombo were excited to get started on the project.
“Murder mysteries are a favorite for Cherokee County audiences. Another favorite? Chocolate of course, so what better way to bring these things together then with a fun and riotous dinner theatre,” Palombo said.
The biggest challenge was finding a space for the production, since a dinner theater works best in a non-traditional theater space.
An opportunity presented itself in a partnership with the Knights of Columbus group at St. Michael’s the Archangel.
“It’s exciting to have a performance opportunity in the Woodstock area,” Palombo said.
The performance serves as fundraising opportunity for both CTC and the Knights of Columbus.
Audience members will enjoy dinner and show for $25. Save $25 by reserving a full table for six for $125.
The performance will be in St. Michael’s Parish Hall at 490 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock. Tickets are available online at
cherokeetheatre.org or by calling (770) 591-0282.
