Memorial services for Gary Clinton Waters a.k.a. Chef “Boy Hidy”, 63, of Douglasville will be held Saturday March 9, 2013 at 3pm at the Southcare Chapel in Marietta. Born February 6, 1950 he was the son of the late William Thurman Waters, Sr. and Carrie Louise Corley. Mr. Waters passed away Tuesday February 26, 2013 at Vista Care Hospice at Emory Healthcare. On September 21, 1985 he married Sherry (Kathy) Kathleen Ganues-Waters. Gary was selfemployed as a landscaping, Tree and Stump removal service for the past 30 years. Gary is also a well- known chef and caterer, making Chef “Boy Hidy” habanero hot sauce. Gary never met a stranger and he loved God. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Waters of Douglasville, brothers, Joseph C. Waters of Covington; Henry H Waters and wife Susan of Loganville; James L. Waters of Atlanta; Richard M. Waters of Atlanta and sister, Carrie Elaine Waters of Stockbridge. Other survivors include Nieces and Nephews, Dr. Tracey Zuckerman, Michael Clinton Waters, Andrew Waters, Kesha Holcombe, Brian Waters, Jennifer Hilton, Joshua Waters, Nathanael Waters, Brianna Hogan, William Merritt and Benjamin Merritt. He was preceded in death by his brother, W.T. Waters, Jr, and Robert D. Waters and twin sisters at birth. In lieu of flowers please contact Kathy Waters or Southcare for details of the memorial fund.
