William (Bill) Wagoner of Adairsville died suddenly on 2/22/13 at the age of 76. He was born in Chattanooga, TN in 1936 and was transferred to Marietta in 1973 with his position with Otasco. After retirement from Otasco he served 10 years with Cobb County Government, Senior Services until 1999. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Boring Wagoner. Also surviving are his children; son, Tony Wagoner, and his wife, Carmen Wagoner of Douglasville; daughters: Tina Andrews and her husband Richard Andrews of Dallas, and Terri Wagoner-Liu of Cartersville. Also surviving are grandsons William S. “Taison” Andrews and his wife, Bailey of Dallas, and Wayne Curran and his wife Andrea of Glendale, Arizona; grand-daughters Kathryn Andrews and Maile Liu, and great grand-daughters, Sway and Aria Andrews. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at The Church at Liberty Square in Cartersville where he had been a member for many years. The service was officiated by Pastor Joe Edwards, Pastor Jacob King & Rev. Calvin Boring. The family requested in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Harvest House, a ministry of the church, which provides food and counseling to those in need.
