Hazel L. Suggs, 90, of Acworth, died Sunday, February 3, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Friday afternoon in the Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. She will lie in state at the church for 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Suggs was born in Atlanta and had lived in Acworth for the last 40 years. She was a retired employee of the Fulton County Government and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Robert T. Suggs, Jr. of Marietta; daughter, Rebecca R. (Jerry) Ballentine of Acworth; 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
