Gloria Melba Dake DeLoach, 88, passed away today, February 4, 2013 at her residence. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Blakely. Rev. Dwight Bishop and Rev. William Biff Coker officiating. A private burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour before funeral service in the church social hall. Mrs. DeLoach was born in Austell, Ga. October 11, 1924 to the late Lanius Taylor Dake and Zoe Lottie Mozley Dake. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blakely. She was also a high school graduate of Austell High and attended the Massay Business College in Atlanta. Mrs. DeLoach is survived by 1 daughter: Jane Anne DeLoach Sullivan and husband Vic of Albany, Ga. 1 son: William Charles DeLoach Jr. and Michelle Dennis of Blakely. 3 grandchildren: Victor C. Sullivan IV and fiancé Katie Zager of Albany, Ga; Gloria Margaret Sullivan of Atlanta, Ga. and Mary Elaine DeLoach of Blakely. 1 sister: Betty Anne Dake Bergen of Austell, Ga. For those desiring so, memorials may be made to the Wilson Hospice House at 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, Ga. 31707 or to the First United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 265 Blakely, Ga. 39823
