MULDOON, Alice G. Surrounded by those who loved her, Alice G. Muldoon, 100, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2013. She resided at Wellington Place Assisted Living in Kennesaw, GA. Alice was born in Brooklyn, NY, where she later trained and became an RN. It was the beginning of a most fulfilling lifelong career progressing from floor, medicine room, ER, OR, staff and Head Nurse culminating in Private Duty nursing. It is suspected that Heaven’s infirmary surely now has a new Head Nurse. Gardening, reading and traveling were just a few of Alice’s many interests. She brought sunshine into every room she entered and will always be remembered for her quick wit and beautiful, written letters. Left to cherish Alice’s memory are daughter, Joan A. Siegel of Kennesaw, GA; son Robert A. Muldoon and his wife Colleen of Townville, SC; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two husbands, Thomas J. Muldoon and William Ade and her first son, Dr. Thomas G. Muldoon. Alice’s well attended 100th birthday party and celebration of her life was how she wanted to be remembered. Her remains will be released to the sea by her much loved immediate family members at a future date. Since Alice’s life passion was nursing it would be to her joy that any contributions be made to the Well- Star foundation Scholarship endowment fund for nursing students.
