Food Mart in Austell raided for alleged drug sales and gambling

Cobb County Police have made several arrests after investigating gambling and drug sales at the Food Mart at 370 Six Flags Drive in Austell.

According to a press release from Officer Mike Bowman with Cobb Police, that the arrests are a result of an undercover operation at the business.

Twelve individuals were arrested in connection with various crimes by the department's narcotics and organized crime units.

Other charges are pending for code violations and alcohol permit issues
