The lines have not abated for early voting in Cobb. Through Tuesday, 9,735 Cobb voters had cast ballots during in-person advance voting, which began Oct. 15.
The main elections office, at 736 Whitlock Ave. in Marietta, is open for advance voting Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Nov. 2.
Today, Friday and all next week, advance voting can also be done at the Cobb Civic Center, 548 S. Marietta Parkway, in Marietta, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Both locations will be open for voting on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Early voting will continue next week at seven more locations, in addition to the main office and the Civic Center. Those are the East Cobb Government Service Center; Noonday Baptist Church, on Canton Road; the Smyrna Community Center; NorthStar Church in Kennesaw; the Boots Ward Recreation Center in Powder Springs; the South Cobb Community Center in Mableton; and the South Cobb Recreation Center in Austell.
